Double Denim
Recently, I've noticed that denim on denim has been making a comeback. Everyone from Rihanna, Beyoncé, Miranda Kerr, Danielle Bernstein, and Kendall Jenner have been sporting the "Canadian Tuxedo". Here's how I would personally style this trend for pre-fall and into winter.
Remember to check out my Polyvore for more outfit inspiration and how to style the latest fall trends.

Late Summer Wish List
It's July, and summer 2k14 is in full swing. I've noticed my style this season to be a mixture of bohemian and punk/grunge. I've paired things from flowy blouses and boyfriend jeans to cropped tops, like this one, and skinny jeans, like these. Having taken inspiration from people such as Miranda Kerr, Alexa Chung, and Danielle Bernstein, my mind has gone crazy creating possible outfits and looks for practically any summertime occasion. These are just a few of the staple pieces I've been dying to get ahold of, especially this bag (can we all just appreciate it for a second?).
Let me know some of the things on your wishlist and what you've been obsessing over this season.

Blackout Summer
Because wearing the color black is a year-long commitment, I've decided to throw together a few looks to show just how I would get away with wearing black the one time of year it's more difficult to get away with. This one goes out to all you black-loving babes.
Just because it's summertime doesn't mean you have to give up on wearing black. Check out my polyvore for more outfit inspiration.

Beach Couture
It's summer! Whether you're chilling at the beach or simply kicking back at home, there's nothing better than a beachy outfit. I'm not one for walking around all day in my swimming suit, so here are some cute ways to cover them up while still managing the boho vibes.
These are just some of my favorite things to pair with a swimsuit, from sandals and sunglasses to boyfriend jeans and a maxi skirt. For more outfit inspiration, check out my polyvore.

6 Ways to Style Birkenstocks
I know what you must be thinking, "Birkenstocks?! No thank you." I thought that as well at first, but I've come to appreciate how they can go well with almost every outfit as long as you wear them correctly. Birkenstocks are a big trend this summer. They've been worn by the likes of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Alexa Chung, Drew Barrymore, Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum, and Rihanna. Similar designs have even been featured on the CĂ©line runway. I'll show you six ways to style these shoes without looking like you're stuck in another decade.
I hope this helps you on your journey through rediscovering Birkenstocks. This summer, ugly is the new beautiful. Not only are they stylish, but they're also really comfortable and offer great arch support. It's a win/win situation.
Which do you prefer? Do you like the Gizeh or Arizona better? How would you style them? Let me know in the comments below!

Surviving Finals
Since dressing comfortably and confidently plays such an important role in test taking, I also put together some outfit ideas for finals week. You don't want to be too warm or cold, and comfiness is key. You want to be able to concentrate on your test, not how uncomfortable your clothes are.

Hopefully this helps you somewhat during your finals. Summer's just around the corner, keep that in mind.

Recently Purchased: Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C. in Fatigue
One of my favorite parts of the bag is the metal studs at the bottom and on the shoulder strap. Not only are they adorable, they protect the leather on the bottom from getting scratched up.
Another gorgeous feature of this bag is the partial chain strap. It adds a dressy look to almost every outfit.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this purchase. I recommend this purse to anyone looking for a designer statement bag without wanting to spend big bucks for it. I purchased mine for $195 from Nordstrom.
Do you have any bags that you've got you're eye on? Let me know in the comments below. x

Coachella Dreams: 2014
Coachella: a paradise full of indie music, bohemian fashion, fruity drinks, and hipsters. Since I've only been able to experience this year's festival via Internet, I've decided to put together my dream wardrobe for if I was lucky enough to go. I've chosen to stick with neutrals, crochets, lace, denim, and plenty of jewelry.
Let me know in the comments below what you think of my outfit choices. Are you going to Coachella this year? What would you wear? What artists would you like to see perform?

Current Bag Obsessions: Spring/Summer 2014
After a long and depressing winter, it's finally spring! One of my favorite things about spring is clearing the winter clothes from my closet and replacing them with brighter, more exciting clothes for the warmer weather. With a new wardrobe, it's essential to have a bag to go along. I tend to go for lighter cross-body bags. Here are some of my favorites.
